I think we can all agree that Valentine’s Day is a big heap of heartless crap. It’s the capitalist machine in overdrive. But, we’re also in agreement that Beyoncé is God. And, that in the sliding scale of Bey versus V-Day, this Queen Bee wins out. So, when the Beehive got wind of her latest merch drop, let’s just say Twitter went into overdrive.
Following on from her holiday-themed collection, Bey has dropped a 14th of February themed capsule collection. It’s not your usual run-of-the-mill love hearts and cupid arrows Valentine’s range, instead it’s a pun-tactic trip through the singer’s back catalogue. T-shirts, sweaters, shorts and iPhone cases are scribed with images of Beyoncé, her lyrics and the phrase ‘Bey Mine’ (which is something you don’t have to ask twice about).

Twitter sentiments were resoundingly in favour of Queen Bey's take on the hallmark holiday. One user wrote: 'Beyoncé released a Valentine’s Day collection... and I want it all♥️'. And another, echoed them saying: 'YASSS! This will be the greatest Valentines gift I ever give myself!', while another added, 'I don’t care I am getting the Beyoncé Valentine’s Day merch. My queen has me shook once again'.
Usually, I wouldn’t sniff at the idea of candy or jewellery, but now I’ve seen these Bootylicious’ shorts and range of hoodies and tees I’ll feel thoroughly snubbed if someone doesn’t ‘fulfill my fantasies’ with a Beyoncé item this Valentine’s Day.
