Beyonce Gives Her First Interview In Two Years

Beyonce hasn't given an interview since 2013 and she wasn't even interviewed for her cover of the September Issue of Vogue. But this week Beat Magazine ran the first interview with Queen B in over two years. Quite the coup.

For the issue Beyonce was shot in the Hamptons, wearing a white swimsuit with BEAT in red letters and posing with an American flag. In one slightly bizarre image she poses with a white chicken.

This might be Beyonce's first interview in two years, but something tells us this won't be the start of her return to chat show sofas. Beyonce doesn't talk about lift gate or motherhood or her next album, instead answers questions about Halloween and pizza.

When asked what fear tastes like she says: "Success. I have accomplished nothing without a little taste of fear in my mouth."

Which Beyonce would Beyonce dress as for Halloween? "Destiny’s Child Survivor era with the army fatigues. Or maybe Bootylicious with the gold tooth and pink tips in my hair." When asked what she has on her pizza she says: "Extra tomato sauce and jalapeños.

The interview was done via email, although Beat's interviewer Michael Cragg believes the answers all came from Beyonce herself. He said toRefinery29: "She's so in control of everything she does and what goes out that it just wouldn't happen. Plus, there were emojis in the email, and emojis are incredibly personal."
