Sadly, she never showed up on the red carpet and so many viewers assumed that she had decided against it. Oh, how wrong they were. Instead of posing for the hoards of photographers stationed outside, Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z snuck into the awards an hour late. And what an entrance.
Wearing a fitted black dress with metallic gold, voluminous shoulders, Bey managed to single-handedly redefine power dressing in an instant. Her shoulder silhouette wasn't just oversized, it was seriously big, unapologetically occupying space.
