We don't mean to alarm anyone, but Beyoncé just announced the Renaissance world tour via Instagram. While the world frantically searches for Beyoncé's world tour dates, we wanted to take a moment to imagine what looks Queen B might bring to the show (hopefully more crystal bikinis and mirror cowboy hats).
If Beyoncé's latest show is anything to go by - the star recently lit up the stage at the grand opening of Dubai's Atlantis Royal Hotel - there are going to be some serious fashion moments to come. Those who attended the invite-only event had the privilege of seeing Queen Bey perform for the first time in four years. Although, this £211,000 per minute performance (more than £19 million total), was quite a controversial return. As members of the Beehive were left angry at her decision to perform in the UAE, despite its government's anti-LGBT policies.
Beyoncé made her grand entrance in a striking yellow number with sheer panels. The Dubai designer behind this look was Rayan Al Sulaimani, owner of Atelier Zuhra. The dress was completed with two cut-out slits and a fabulous feather train, which fanned out behind the star like wings.
She invited her daughter, Blue Ivy, to perform a duet of Brown Skin Girl with her for the first time. Blue Ivy's grandmother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and Timothy White created a playful glittering red sequin jumpsuit specially for her.
Beyoncé's first outfit change was made a third of the way into the performance - a fiery red princess-cut dress with opera gloves, designed by Nicolas Jebran. The dress featured intricate gold beadwork and was topped off with a magnificent halo crown. Jebran called it a 'milestone' in a caption on Instagram showing illustrations of the look, adding that it was 'the art of creating moments to live up to'.
Beyoncé was carried into the sky for her third and final look as she sang Drunk in Love. The pop icon wore a pink diamond embroidered mini dress, with leggings and gloves designed by Ukrainian designer, Ivan Frolov. The boning of the corset garment was gilded with fine galvanic gold, and the dress was created utilising unique couture techniques with white and golden crystals.
To conclude the spectacular show, a firework display was lit up - and Beyoncé disappeared into the smoke.
