Alongside Britney's major comeback performance, Drake declaring his love for Rihanna and that Kanye speech (what would the VMAS be without a Kanye speech?), there was one other thing that people couldn't stop talking about last night.
We are, of course, talking about Blue Ivy’s appearance.
The 4-year-old was her mum’s date for the awards show at Madison Square gardens and looked all kinds of adorable (and very well behaved) as she walked the white carpet. Co-ordinating in matching angelic ensembles the mother-daughter duo caused a paparazzi frenzy.
Bey rocked a sheer Francesco Scognamiglio creation complete with chain details and fur wings, while Blue had on a gold tulle dress by Mischka Aoki worth £8,358, and a glittering tiara.
This isn’t the first time Beyoncé and her mini-me have worn coordinating outfits. Back in July they wore matching floral Gucci dresses on a trip to Paris. It seems Blue Ivy is shaping up to be quite [the fashion star](http://Blue Ivy Is Already Cooler Than We'll Ever Be) like her mother.
The VMAs were a busy night for Beyoncé. The surprise attendee performed an incredible mega-mix version of Lemonade and took home a whopping seven gongs - the most awarded artist ever. Casual. We imagine Blue Ivy was tucked up in bed by this point.
