You'd have thought that Cher was enough for one campaign, but Marc Jacobs is continuing to reveal even more stars of his autumn winter 2015 campaign. The latest face to be revealed on his Instagram page is Winona Ryder.
Marc wrote on Instagram about the actress: "Winona and I have been friends for over 15 years. She first appeared in our campaign in 2003. Here she is as beautiful and unique as ever photographed by David Sims in our Fall/Winter campaign." He added: "I love her wit, energy and besides being a great talent, she is a great friend!"
Marc Jacobs put Winona in his Spring Summer 2003 Juergen Teller campaign, after she wore a Marc Jacobs dress to court when she was charged with shoplifting. Marc said at the time: "I asked Winona to do the campaign because I thought she looked so beautiful in all these pictures that we've seen recently, regardless of whether they were from the trial". A t $760 Marc Jacobs jumper was one of the items she was charged with stealing.
In his campaign series Marc has called upon the likes of Willow Smith and Cher to pose in front of a deep tomato red wall. Winona is photographed on a step ladder in a heavy embellished coat.
This weekend Marc Jacobs also revealed that Daisy Lowe's younger sister Betty is one of his faces for Autumn. The daughter of Pearl Lowe and Supergrass drummer, Danny Goffey, does the Wednesday Adams thing, with her hair in pigtails and a floral Victoriana gown.
Marc Jacobs wrote on Instagram of his new campaign star: "Allow me to introduce Betty Lowe @ocean_bubble photographed by David Sims. In 2009 her sister Daisy Lowe did the MbyMJ campaign..I love these girls, their mom Pearl, and this family!" Betty was at Glastonbury this weekend with her sister Daisy, where she watched her Dad perform.
