What can women take away from the London Collections: Men I hear you say? Well, quite a bit actually. It seemed fitting that the four-day affair - which saw many designers merging menswear and womenswear - occured simultaneously as UK state schools announce its plans to introduce gender-neutral uniforms.

In fact, the menswear runway has now become a playground for spotting the hottest new designer to name drop, alongside womenswear trends for next season. Father and son design duo Casely-Hayford used their show at LC SS/17 as a platform to debut their women’s line on Saturday. Miuccia Prada, will give fans a sneak peek at her womenswear collection when she shows her men’s line this Sunday. Tom Ford is even rearranging the traditional fashion calender all together – opting to show both his women and men’s collection together in September.

Here’s seven fashion trends to take away from the London Collections: Men SS17. Which style tribe are you in?

‘90s Is A-Go-Go

Only Fools and Horses tees at Agi & Sam, Law and Order sweaters at Christopher Kane and Southpark-style hoodies from Craig Green. Nostalgic shows from the ‘90s were the big winners at LC this season.

Paisley Prints

We’re crushing over pretty much every piece from Casely-Hayford’s line, which debuted its womenswear collection for the first time. Think clashing ‘70s patterns, jacquard coats and tie-dye fringing. Obsessed.
