To say that we are obsessed with ASOS is an understatement. We’re not gushers by trade, but about ASOS? We must gush. It’s inexpensive, brilliantly made, ridiculously ahead of the trends, has a banging magazine and even more banging models. Where did Cara model before she got famous? You got it. ASOS.

It gets even better. They’ve now got 8 new stylists (4 guys, 4 gals) on hand for all your needs. They’re also all walking adverts for ASOS: if you want to know how to wear ASOS just look at what they’re wearing. And, obviously, read our Q&A with them below.

**The Debrief: Let’s start with the important stuff. What are the ASOS staples we NEED to buy right now? **

Rachel Mae: At the moment our culottes are a great buy for work and I also recommend cropped shirts – worn in the right way they can give office appropriate outfits a lot of fashion credibility. The oversized jersey tee is a really cute piece when paired with Vans trainers or ankle boots.

Isabella: Anything black! A classic style black blazer that fits well, you can re-spin them for years to come.
A pair of black heeled pumps and a black clutch can be chucked on with skinny jeans, rolled jeans, culottes, skirts, macs, bombers – whatever, they’ll make your whole wardrobe chic.
And for chilling, a pair of oversized boyfriend jeans is perfect.

Felicity: Work ASOS Curve Jumpsuits will help you retain your style personality even at work, while ASOS Curve leggings are perfect for relaxing in. I’m also into flatforms (for all-daywear).

DB: Where should you save your money and where should you splurge?

Rachel Mae: Definitely save your money on ASOS bargains like the basic crop top and tees. You can snap up a crop top for £6 and they’re perfect to pair with high-waisted trousers and duster coats for autumn. Splurge on a leather jacket or sheepskin this winter.

Isabella: Buy high street, saving on great basics like slim jeans, basic culottes and black and white tees – then finish with a designer bag. I’m dreaming of buying my first Chanel handbag soon!

Felicity: Save money by shopping the end of season sales. When there’s 75% off you can take a risk on a style you would never normally wear and experiment. [Aaaaand there’s one on ASOS right now.]

DB: So what trans-seasonal pieces should we snap up now, that will work for the end of summer and also autumn?

Rachel Mae: Duster coatsare a great transitional piece as they’re ideal for layering as it starts to get colder. The midi-length coat is here to stay so invest now if you haven’t already. Flares are also the trouser I’d suggest you step into for winter. They look fresh and are really flattering and sexy.

Isabella: I would say a high-neck knitted jumper. They’re perfect for a colder summer day, and one of the hottest trends this AW. Then you can rock the tucked-in-hair trend, which I love doing at the moment.

Felicity: A varsity jacket, perfect for chilled summer evenings, but also super-cosy for those chilly autumn days ahead.

DB: When is the best time to shop ASOS?

Rachel Mae: All day every day! We have new-in pieces that come on site every morning, which is great as there’s always something fresh you can browse!

Felicity: Lazy Sunday afternoons...

DB: What is your favourite newly stocked label that we should be clothing ourself in pronto?

Rachel Mae: I’m really excited about all the new Buffalo shoes which are starting to go live on site from today, and we’re also starting to stock Nixon watches too which are awesome.

Isabella: See by Chloe. Amazing design and quality.

Felicity: Anna Sui Star Lipstick. The new star shape design is amazing. I am lipstick obsessed! I would never leave the house without in on.

**DB: What trends are going to be massive this autumn? **

Rachel Mae: Knitwear – not just jumpers, but knitted trousers and co-ords too.

Isabella: Mixing the classic Scandi looks, which are very normcore, with sportswear that feels really modern.

Felicity: Pretty lace and chunky boots.

DB: Tell us a secret about ASOS.

Rachel Mae: We eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Felicity: We all fancy the male models.
