The angelic Kate Bosworth has secured second place in Grazia’s Best Dressed list for 2013. Why did you vote in your droves to get her here? Well, it could be something to do with her very cool collaboration with Topshop. Starting the festival season with a bang on the dusty desert plains of Coachella, Kate turned her hand to designing alongside the Toppers team.

After working on 2012’s Christmas collection with the high street stalwart (where the actress revealed her vocal talents) K-Bo had inspiration for a festi-fashion collection and so it was: a 16 piece range featuring hippy dippy waistcoats, slinky slip dresses and suede shorts. Summer made way for another Bosworth collection – currently available on Topshop.com you’ll now find the polar opposite: minimalist shirting, foil skirts and leather trousers.

Aside from Kate’s successful Topshop collaborations, a subtle switch up from blonde to brunette and back again, plus the many casual-cool outfits she constructs during her downtime in Los Angeles (that often oh-so-chicly match those of her husband Michael Polish), her designer fashion moments have impressed, too.

Thanks to premieres for Big Sur and such events like the Met Gala, Kate’s after-dark looks have included such lovely things as a black dress from Christopher Kane’s next collection with a bejewelled neckline, a Quality Street-metallic Balmain mini, disco-ball sparkles from Fendi and ethereal Giambattista Valli couture. How one person can be so very good at changing from uber-glam to Woodstock in the flick of a tousled curl? We’re not sure, but we like it.
