Italian Heiress Beatrice Borromeo Marries Pierre Casiraghi In Pink Valentino Couture

Even in royal circles, a big day doesn't always have to spell a white wedding. This weekend, Italian heiress Beatrice Borromeo tied the knot with Grace Kelly's grandson Pierre Casiraghi at the gardens of Grimaldi Palace in Monaco and the bride wore an exquisite powder-pink gown by Valentino.

"Beatrice Borromeo wore a Valentino Haute Couture dress designed by Creative Directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, for her civil wedding with Pierre Casiraghi on July 25th at the Prince's Palace of Monaco," the house captioned a stunning photo of the couple on a balcony at their venue. "The wedding gown was created in a pale pink and gold lace silk chiffon," they added.

Again, bucking tradition, the bride accessorised the '70s inspired bridal gown with a simple down 'do in bouncy waves topped with a flower crown. She carried a modest bouquet of garden flowers. Meanwhile her groom wore a simple charcoal suit.

The pair will have their religious ceremony in Italy next week, and according to People, the bride will wear a second Valentino gown. If her first wedding dress is anything to by it's bound to be a show-stopper. We can't wait to catch a glimpse.
