Beating Topshop and H&M, the crowning glory of British fast-fashion, ASOS, has been anointed the most visited online shop. The data crunchers at internet marketing firm SEMrush has added up the numbers and found they come up on top.
Using data around traffic, the numbers from online marketplace referral sites, like Shopstyle, search and social media, SEMrush were able to see that ASOS outranked its competition. This just goes to show the power of social media in making the tills ring and the power of online marketing. As ASOS don’t advertise in print or on TV and don’t have a bricks and mortar store their spending on capturing customers online has put the, ahead of the curve. Now excuse us while we go shop ASOS.
