Just when we thought the e-commerce giant couldn’t possibly stock anything else, news just in: ASOS Bridal will be dropping in March 2016. It may not seem the most likely destination for brides-to-be but having had a sneak peak at the collection it may be just what the truly modern woman is looking for.

The collection boasts a whole host of styles from bohemian-inspired dresses, sexy, slinky gowns to a full-skirted retro numbers. There really does appear to be something for everyone, catering to different shapes, sizes and age groups. While a click-and-buy dress might not be to every bride’s taste, those with busy schedules and growing families will undoubtedly appreciate not being confronted with the eye-popping prices associated with designer wedding gowns. In fact, it’s surprising that more high street retailers haven’t jumped on the bridal wear bandwagon.

It doesn’t end with the dress either. As well as the 18-piece ready-to-wear collection, ASOS will also be launching a line of shoes and accessories to complete your wedding look. Individual items will set buyers back between £60 and £250. This bride, however, will look anything but basic. While there are a selection of classic styles; a fishtail, prom dress and some luscious lace pieces, there are also a number of looks for the more fashion forward bride. A great 70s style white jumpsuit with billowing sleeves would make a real statement, and the lace long-sleeved dress comes complete with a mini nude bodice, perfect for showing off a sassy shoe.

This collection has a real wearability factor. These dresses wouldn’t necessarily have to be put back in your wardrobe, collecting dust, never to be seen again post-wedding. The jumpsuit would look fabulous on any dancefloor, while the ivory silk sheath at home at any dressy event with a strappy sandal and some great jewellery. The collection even features a beaded crop top that could easily be worn on its own for a night out.

What’s not to love about a one stop shop for bridal wear? It’s fast, easy, and most importantly, affordable. ASOS will be the perfect shopping destination for laidback brides on the go, those who want to look great on their special day, and stick to a budget.

So here's the top picks of the collection that we think you should look out for...
