Ariana Grande pulled off an impossible feat at last night's SAG Awards. Because even after an exhaustive promo tour for Wicked, not to mention a hectic schedule on the awards-season beat, Grande still went 'method', wearing a custom-made gown that was arguably her best 'Glinda'.

The dress is question - the softest of powder pinks and draped over the shoulders - was Loewe, undoubtedly one of the most directional labels to choose for the red carpet. Its approach for Grande, however, was pure fairytale. In close-up shots on the step and repeat, you can see the fluffy bodice is made of individual flower heads that overlap and eventually cascade down the length of her skirt as if they're falling (dreamy, no?).

It's also a sign that we're due to see more of these new-fangled florals on the red carpet, stepping away from anything that could be compared to wallpaper for a floral that's either graphic, textured or otherwise individual. Grande got there first.
