Is This Anna Dello Russo’s Most Surprising Outfit Yet?

The words 'Anna Dello Russo' and 'basics' don't often belong in the same sentence. This is a woman who wears Mickey Mouse ears outside of the walls of the Magic Kingdom.

Today Anna Instagrammed an outfit of the day post from an airport which actually surprised us - nope she wasn't travelling in a space suit or that's-worth-more-than-a-house couture. Instead she was wearing indigo flares, a denim shirt and a camo jacket. No net fasciator? No five-inch heels?

Before you start to worry about Ms Russo, she didn't go all-out-basics, as she brought the fabulous with Louis Vuitton luggage and a Valentino printed handbag. Oh and that camo jacket is Saint Laurent.

We realise that in most cases wearing denim to an airport does not a story make, but this is a lady who wears cherries on her head and feathers on her heels. Fashion week or no fashion week. We imagine she sleeps in couture and visits the corner shop in one-of-a-kind Prada.
