Amal Clooney is one of a select few who has worn John Galliano for Maison Margiela on the red carpet.
Galliano was named creative director at Maison Margiela in October 2014 and since then Amal has worn two custom-made Galliano gowns. Firstly she wore a red ruffled Margiela number to the Met Gala and then she wore a gold halter neck gown to support her husband at the premiere of Tomorrowland in Japan.
Her alliance with Galliano received some raised eyebrows after the Met Gala, given she is a human rights lawyer and his past anti-Semetic remarks. So what is the reason behind Amal teaming up with l'enfant terrible? It was thought this red carpet pairing may be the work of designer match-maker Anna Wintour, who has stayed loyal to Galliano.
But now it seems this is all down to her new stylist. Amal has started working with Alexis Roche, Galliano's partner. He has been tweeting and Instagramming her looks with the caption 'styled by Alexis Roche' and has added them to his online portfolio.
He has also been working with Uma Thurman, Marion Cotillard and Kendall Jenner. Yep this is the man that brought us Kendall in an Alaia crop top at Cannes.
