Alexander McQueen's iconic (but incredibly tricky to walk in) Armadillo boots have been worn by the likes of Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness - and now you could hobble along in a pair too.
Three specially-made pairs of the boots have gone on sale for a great cause - to raise money for Unicef's Nepal Earthquake Appeal. They'll come at a price though - the shoes will be featuring in Christie's Handbag and Accessories auction (on until next Thursday), so will only be available to the highest bidder.
Featuring a staggering 30cm high heel, the boots were so complex to produce, they were never intended to be sold. Instead, they played a starring role in McQueen's final SS10 catwalk show - giving them an enormous fashion cache and value. They were also famously worn by Lady Gaga in her Bad Romance video.
But if you can't make it to Christie's to splash out on a piece of fashion history, head to the V&A's Savage Beauty exhibition, where several pairs are on display.
