Proof: Alexa Chung’s New Fashion Line Looks Just Like Her Wardrobe

There is such a thing as the Alexa effect. Beginning in her days on Pop World, she’d wear something – say a tea dress and a battered satchel or shorts and tights – and then the rest of us would follow. Alexa Chung would drape on a Barbour jacket at Glastonbury, the world would watch and copy. Her school of adorable coltishness has garnered her legions of fans who have lapped up her style like they did Kate Moss and Antia Pallenberg before her. So, it’s with little wonder that her standalone line, which debuted last night, was hotly anticipated.

Fulfilling all our dreams and desires, it looks like her own wardrobe. Like a showreel of her closet’s highlights, she’s kindly included ditsy floral dresses, finely-cut blazers, slogan tops and mohair sweaters that when squinting look almost identical to ones she’s donned before.
