It looks like blue is the colour of the season! Zara Phillips stepped out at the Grand National today in an outfit that's strikingly similar to one of the Duchess of Cambridge's previous looks.

The second eldest grandchild of the Queen and Olympian sported a Goat Redgrave coat in the colourway Denim for the event, along with a a navy pillbox hat and chic matching clutch.

The outfit was reminiscent of the look Kate opted to wear for the wedding of Lucy Meade and Charlie Budgett just two weeks ago. Yep - the event where another guest wore the same coat too. It seems blue is the colour of the season!

The Duchess opted for a dusty blue tweed M by Missoni jacket from 2012 for her engagement and accessorised - like Zara - with a navy hat and matching clutch.

Zara was at the Grand National today with husband Mike Tindall to support her horse Monbeg Dude who came 7th in the race. Her look fell at the chicer end of the Aintree fashion scale this year, with attendees donning everything from platform heels and mini dresses to hats made of Mini Cheddars for the race meet.

According to The Telegraph, thousands of tickets have been left unsold with experts suggesting that regular racegoers were being put off the event by the “lax” dress code. Relax guys! It's just a bit of fun.
