You may think Donald Glover and Gucci Mane are the reasons everyone is talking about Atlanta’s hip-hop scene. But, it’s not. Abra’s Georgia-based label Awful Records has been tickling our ears with woke beats from Tommy Genesis and Father for some time now. Poised for hitting the mainstream this year, now is the time to invest in sartorial proof that your iTunes library was lit before this crew hit the big time.

The line of tees and hats, which is modelled by Danger Incorporated, Father and Lord Narf, has been designed by Aussie illustrator @fuckyoubaker. Like Travis Scott and Justin Bieber merch, Awful uses a distinctive thrash metal font that creates a discourse with alt music nerds. Check out the collection for yourself on the label’s recently designed new website here.
