They called it on Game of Thrones: winter is coming. And with winter comes winter layering. Personally, this is my fave time for fashion owing to my never-ending love affair with knitwear and massive jumpers. So, here are eight of the week's best wintery outfits, as seen on Instagram.
1. Grace F Victory
A leather jacket will never go out of style and neither will a monochrome colour palette. This chequered Monki shirt dress is cute and versatile - grab it from ASOS.
2. Lissy Roddy
All knitwear, everywhere, for those days where it's just too cold to leave the house but you've got just a tad too much pride to chuck on the onesie. Just yet, at least.
3. We Wore What
This literally amazing faux fur coat will ensure that you rock up to all those Xmas parties in style. And thanks to the vibrant shade, you'll always be able to find it in the cloak room, even when completely smashed. Get in in Topshop, before it's gone.
4. Jane Aldridge
Repurpose any of your fringy festival gear by shoving it under a cosy jumper and revel in how clever and stylish you are.
5. Carrie Harwood
Longer coats make you look smart and sophisticated, AND they make you feel fancy whilst walking down the road, thanks to that satisfying swish.
6. Stella Kattermann
Make like Stella Kattermann, add some colour to our gloomy British winter days and cheer up everyone in your office with a bright suit.
7. Aled Stedman
Ok so these shoes aren't really wintry as such - you'll definitely get cold feet - but it's worth it because they have pom poms. POM POMS!
8. Alisha Hannah Khan
More gorgeous winter layering here. There's really not much better in the winter than coming in out of the cold and sitting on the sofa in a comfy cardi with a nice cuppa. It's the little things :)
