It's the final countdown....in just a few days the United States of America will have a brand new president. But we don't want to just leave you guys with the terrifying thought of Donald Trump being the next leader of the free world, so as a distraction let's take a look back at some of Hillary's finest sartorial achievements of the last 40 years.
After all, as this rather good Instagram account documenting Hillary's best looks puts it, 'what better way to enjoy an election than through #streetstyle?'
1. When Hills was a student, and just like everyone else (maybe)
You will probably barely even recognise the presidential candidate in this throwback black and white snap but this is indeed Hillary Rodham of Wellesley College. WHAT a betty.
2. 'And then, I beat that dreadful man with a landslide victory!'
Hillary Clinton, ladies and gentleman, proving that pink is as powerful as it is pretty since 1995. Also, we want these glasses.
3. 'Just me, and my perfectly coiffed hair'
There's an old adage that you can tell a lot about a person from their hair (we think.) Hilary's is poised, graceful, and smart. Trump's? Well, um, it's.... there are no words.
4. Just LOOK at the determination in those eyes. No wonder she ended up running for president
In 1999, some journalists thought they were asking HC about how she wanted to be Senator for New York. Little did they know she was dreaming of being their President instead.
5. 'One day I'll rule over this land, as far as the eye can see'
There is some very on point blue colour co-ordination going on here. We dig it.
6. Total Chiller
A classic look that's as regal as it is intimidating. Perfect for presidency we reckon.
7. 'Over and out, bitches'
There she is, back in her classic pant suit again, waving and smiling with the confidence of someone who will/must/please God make sure she does - win the election.
