If you’ve decided 2016 is the time to get your shit in order then what better place to start than your wardrobe? After the party season and time away at your parents it’s probably seeing the messy side-effects of some serious rummaging. So, to give you inspo on how to revamp your storage set-up, or just make it neat enough that you can actually find the clothes you’re looking for, we’ve found eight Instagrams to give your serious #WardrobeGoals.

A tidy wardrobe is a tidy mind, right?

The one with the sweaters on show

So the fancy chandelier is probably unrealistic, but having your sweaters on shelves where you can see them is a pretty nifty idea, as it means you don’t have to wade through a massive pile to unearth of the one you're looking for. Plus, you’re probably less likely to mess them up so quickly if you know they’re out for everyone to see. @the_file

The wardrobe that’s under the bed

It doesn’t get much slicker than a secret wardrobe under your bed, plus it means you’d have so much storage space you’d never need to cull any of your clothes. Much chicer than a floordrobe. @Thecoveteur

The monochrome one

Showing off trinkets and pictures on the shelves above your wardrobe rail will make it more of a feature. Especially if you’re of the minimalist persuasion and all your stuff is in a coordinating colour palette. @kingkarldesign.

The one that’s part of the misc-en-scene

Your clothes don’t have to be the main attraction - pull up some chairs, stack them with some cool homeware and voilà you’ve got yourself a very chic wardrobe set-up. Plus, when it all gets a bit more messy it’ll still look stylised enough to detract from it. @talisa_sutton.

The one that’s like a shop window display

Only those with a teeny tiny clothes collection need apply for this half pop-up shop, half display cabinet theme. Though you can always stash away your less fancy items in your drawers, or pack your clothes on a little tighter. The copper piping detail would look just as cool even in a busier set-up, we’re sure. @Sarahkelpin.

The boudoir closet

Why shouldn’t your wardrobe be as colourful as your clothes collection? Displaying your stuff like its in your own vintage shop will make getting dressed seem way more fun. @thecoveteur.

The shoe addict’s fantasy

If shoes are your thing then stack ‘em high. The ceiling’s the limit. @sofievalkiers.

The minimalist’s dream

White hangers, white rails, white walls - this is a no red wine zone. But as long as you stick to the clear drinks this Scandi style set-up would make for a very zen dressing room. @chichiclothing.
