The thought of trying to transform your wardrobe and adapt it to the latest season can be a little overwhelming. With so many trends to tap into and so much inspiration from street style to the catwalks, Instagram to Pinterest, it can be hard to know where to start.

Stress not, as we’ve done the hard work and picked a few key products that will transform your wardrobe in an instant and update your look for the season ahead.

From masculine and tailored silhouettes to embroidery and metallics, our SS17 edit with Tu will ensure you step into Spring in serious style.

Spring Metallics

Don’t underestimate the power of a pleated midi. A metallic pleated midi to be exact. From Marques Almeida to Versus, metallics adorned the SS17 catwalks and pleats are a winner season after season. Dress it up with a slogan tee (props to Christian Dior and Ashley Williams for bringing that back) and chunky heels, or take it down a notch with slouchy grey marl sweat and biker boots for a transeasonal grunge inspired look. This one piece can even update your work look, team with a white shirt, sandals and bold red lip. Effortless.

Make It Masculine

We were dying to get our hands on a masculine statement piece after boyfriend blazers made a solid impression in the Vetements A/W collection. Don’t be afraid to mix it up and pair an oversized blazer (worn over the shoulders) with a soft feminine Summer dress or dress it down with boyfriend jeans, a white tee and slip-on trainers. We’ll be wearing ours to the office with culottes, a statement tee and courts for an instant Spring-smart look.

Sports Luxe

Possibly the most comfortable and wearable trend of the season. No doubt, you’ve all received the memo that athleisure is here to stay and this season’s sports-luxe update comes in the form of the jogger. We particularly love this denim pair and will be doubling up with a denim shirt and finishing off our look with a trench and trainers. Don’t be mistaken, joggers aren’t just for the weekend, style with heels and a silk tee for a more sophisticated athleisure look.

Feminine Florals

The embroidered floral vintage trend has made a comeback in a big way and If you scroll through Instagram you’ll see a multitude of embroidery inspo, from denim to sweatshirts. Pair some Gucci-inspired floral jeans with a high-necked frill blouse for the ultimate ladylike look, for cooler Spring days keep it retro and nod to the 90s and team them with chunky heeled boots and a fine knit.

Transeasonal Tunic

Spring/Summer weather can be unpredictable, that’s why every wardrobe needs a transeasonal tunic, seeing you through Spring in style from the cold snaps to the sunshine. We saw a slew of celebrities donning pinafores in 2016, and they’re back on our radar for SS17. This denim dungaree dress is ideal for layering and will look just as great worn over a jumper, tights and trainers as it will with a crisp white shirt and sandals when the sun comes out.

70s Style

Inspired by Marc Jacobs, we’re giving our Spring wardrobe a 70s update with a classic denim skirt. Transform this knee-length version into a Spring staple simply by pairing with trainers, and a sporty polo shirt or go one step further and wear it with a vintage headscarf, platform sandals and a silk blouse for the ultimate 70s style.
