6 Glasses That Will Make You Wish You Were Myopic

Very possibly you were one of those kids at school who lied on an eye test to get some tortoishell specs. You would have been ahead of your time, because obviously the days in which glasses are used as a visual aid are long gone. Obviously our main reason for wearing glasses now is to transform a bog standard collection of clothes into a *look. *

1. Jess Woodleigh

The MIC girl who refuses to brush her hair lifts an otherwise minimalist ensemble with some three blind mice-esque frames. We love her tights, too.

2. Markus Lupfer

Discs edged with lilac! Marcus Lupfer shows us that glasses can be as weird as any other bit of fashion with a pair that slightly resembles party rings.

3. Freya Robb

Freya Robb proves that utilitarian glasses can be a chic statement accessory. Bring back NHS frames!*

  1. Asos Alisha

Alisha's thin gold frames make her look like a very beautiful and Parisian John Lennon.

5. Alex Stedman

Here pastel statement frames brighten what's otherwise a sensible and wintry outfit.

6. Suki Waterhouse

We would bet a million pounds that Suki's glasses aren't prescription, but that doesn't stop her from looking great. These retro specs make us think she's got an A* Maths GCSE in that bag.
