Going Nude - Stylist Christine Reehorst shows us how.

It’s July and we can FINALLY say with certainty, Summer has arrived! British Summer that is. Whilst we’ll be reaching for our minis and maxis every time the sun comes out, it’s worth having a few stylish cover-up staples to shield us from the erratic weather. This week, we caught up with London based blogger Monica Beatrice Welburn to get her tips on how to rock a summer blazer…

**1. ****To Work. **

****A summer blazer is a playful update on your run-of-the-mill workwear. Autumn/Winter separates are given a new lease of life when teamed with a floral print, or sunset hue. Keep tailoring sharp so as to maintain authority, and off set a jaunty blazer with a classic bottom and crisp white shirt.

**2. **Off Duty.

Nothing looks cooler than frayed denim, or a flippy summer dress, worn with a well cut jacket. Look to our favourite French fashion eds for street style inspo.

**3. **To a Wedding.

Ditch the pashmina and upgrade your outerwear to a plush summer blazer. Pick up on complimentary tones in your outfit, or clash if feeling brave. A shorter cut works well with long dresses; go for a longer blazer with above the knee ensembles.

**4. **As a Co-ord.

From city shorts, to pencil skirts, through to a full on tux, a matching blazer combo is the last word in summer elegance. There’s a silhouette for everyone, from loose-fitting kimono style jackets and skirts, through to sharply tailored - work the trend how best fits you.

**5. **Going Nude.

Perennially chic, nude is a failsafe summer hue, negotiating all manner of social situations.
