As the pioneer of the ‘no makeup, makeup look’ that we all strive for, Mary Greenwell is one of the most influential women in the industry and a real Grazia fave. Having had over 25 years’ experience as a practicing makeup artist, trained two of the most prominent women in the industry today (Lisa Eldridge and Charlotte Tilbury) and with two fragrances under her belt, Mary is quite the makeup powerhouse! Any product she recommends is sure to have been thoroughly tried and tested, as she’s made up hundreds of faces from a fourteen-year-old Brooke Shields for her first cover to Grace Coddington and Princess Diana. Read on for Mary’s make-up must-haves…

YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation, £29: For when I want slightly more coverage. Easy to apply and great blending texture.

Chanel Vitalumiere Compact Douceur, £42.50: The new Lightweight Compact powder makeup that is beyond wonderful and acts as my new foundation.

Vichy Dermablend Ultra-Corrective Cream Stick, £19: A great concealer for blemishes and those very dark circles I sometimes have!

Charlotte Tilbury Air-brush Flawless Finish Skin-perfecting Micro-powder, £33: This really does what it says.

Chanel Cream Blush, £27: They are a wonderful texture that blends into the skin to use over liquid foundation or under foundation powder.

Suqqu Blend Colour Eye Shadow in 05 Sakurakaba, £45: 4 colours that complement each other and can be built for a fabulous smoky eye or kept soft and natural.

Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen, £42: It has a great tip to get into the roots of the lashes and to create a cat flick.

Sensai by Kanebo Volumising Mascara 38°c, £23: A sensational mascara that does not smudge but comes off really easily with water over 38°c and makes lashes look great.

MAC Lipstick in Cream in Your Coffee, £15: The best 'natural tone' lip colour just a few shades darker than my lip colour. It works well on everyone.

LEMON by Mary Greenwell, £60 for 50ml: This is my second fragrance after PLUM. I love them both but as it is still warmish outside, LEMON is more zesty and summery. Maybe I can wear it for a few more weeks before snuggling up with my lovely PLUM! Either one is fine by me!
