_Say hello to Liz Loves! Each and every week, our Health & Beauty Director, Liz Hambleton, will be revealing her beauty secrets and makeup must-haves direct from Grazia _HQ...__*
Even when you’re staying with a fellow beauty director, a two week trip requires a very considered edit of beauty products – especially if you’re hopping from city to beach to spa as I did on my recent trip to Australia and Hong Kong. Sticking to one (small) suitcase adds a whole load of extra pressure when making this selection, which is why I tend to stick to the following rules:
-
- The product must have at least two purposes (unless it’s classed as an essential – cleanser, dry shampoo, toothpaste for example). La Roche Posay Anthelios Spray (£19.00) protected my skin from the sun and acted as both a body and hair oil in the evenings.

Do not pack shampoo but do take sachets/decanters of your favourite conditioner. I decant my favourite Pureolgy and Klorane conditioners to save on space and weight. You can use the shampoo in your hotel or buy a cheap bottle when you get there. I promise your hair will be fine…

Skip moisturiser and only pack your facial SPF for day and a replenishing face oil for nights or sun free days. SkinCeuticals Protect Sheer Mineral UV Base (£35.00) and lots of Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules, ([£65.00](http://www.timetospa.co.uk/anti-ageing/anti-ageing-boosters/elemis-cellular-recovery-skin-bliss-capsules/)) made it into my beauty bag.

Keep your make-up with you on the flight – we can survive without moisturiser but not mascara! I take this handy take off and touch down travel bag from Anya Hindmarch which is security approved meaning you won’t have to faff around with plastic bags before your board.

Make sure your make-up has SPF in it as well in case you get caught out in a sunny spot – Lancome Hydra Zen Tinted Moisturiser (£30.00) and Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint (£22.25) are my essentials.

My favourite foodspo - @naturallysassy_
It’s time I shared my favourite food blogger with you – Saskia Gregson Williams, aka Naturally Sassy tickles my healthy taste buds on a daily basis with her delicious vegan, gluten-free delights. Her recipes are easy to follow and simple but satisfying – especially important for health conscious bakers like myself. You’ll see regular shots of her amazing food store cupboard and to die for kitchen, plus loads of inspiration for daily ways to improve your diet. This Easter I’ll be attempting to make her quinoa chia breads seen here…
A True Original – Anja Rubik
I caught up with the impressive woman that is Anja Rubik today to talk all things fragrance, yoga (you know how I love it) art, and life. A supermodel by trade, Anja has many strings to her very beautiful bow and can boast running a very successful and visionary magazine (called 25 Magazine) as well as being a keen perfumer. In town to talk about her new baby (Original By Anja Rubik) it’s clear the sharp, unexpected and very wearable fragrance has been a real passion project. "I started by making a visual mood board of my inspirations - scent-wise I knew I wanted lily, an element of spice (ed note. - you’ll notice the pink peppercorn when you try it) and green tea and that was really my starting point." Flash forward to two years later and Anja has driven every part of the process from development, bottle design, packaging, campaign visuals and distribution. ‘I worked with people who knew me very well to make sure this was a true representation of myself and my style.’ Find her debut fragrance at Liberty in London and discover the many depths of Anja for yourself...
