Sticking to conventional fashion traditions and rules is no fun - and these seven stars know this all too well. From boycotting the idea that you can only been seen in an outfit once, to combining numerous style trends into one look, Grazia takes a look at the celebrities and influencers who are changing the game in the fashion industry. You might want to take note...

1. Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Cambridge has been breaking fashion traditions for as long as we can remember. Perhaps the most radical rule that she breaks is the one of re-wearing an outfit. While most celebrities would shy away from this, Kate fully embraces wearing a much-loved outfit over and over again.

2. Rihanna

Rihanna seems to be one of those celebrities who can pull off just about any kind of look - even the really tricky ones that only seem to look good on the runway. In fact, it's been said that nothing is actually on-trend until Rihanna deems it so - and we agree.

You can always expect to spot RiRi wearing something fun, bold and that goes against traditional fashion norms (like that time she wore a baseball cap and trainers with a ballgown). So, next time you're going out, make like Rihanna and pair a formal dress with some off-duty slip-on shoes. As well as feeling rebellious and free, your feet will thank you for this style switch-up

3. Kim Kardashian

She's broken most traditional fashion rules, but has managed to make her own style bible in the process. For example, she's turned long blazers into the modern-version of dresses, proved that tracksuit bottoms and heels are a match made in heaven, and shown us all that you can wear running shorts when you're not running.

Another fashion rule that Kim has broken is wearing bedroom underwear as outerwear - she's regularly papped out and about wearing bras under sheer tops or paired with long coats. Granted, both looks are bold and raunchy, and can't be effortlessly pulled off IRL - not without a little help, anyway. That's where the new ZERO Feel collection by lingerie brand sloggi comes in handy.

Featuring ultra comfortable bras that create the base for the perfect outfit, this feel-good collection is your answer to the wearing underwear as outerwear. Why? Because wearing one of these bras will leave you looking and feeling your best, and give you the confidence to step out of the house in a sheer top. Watch out, Kim.

4. Millie Bobby Brown

Last year's breakout fashion star was none other than 13-year-old actress Millie Bobby Brown. Her quirky sartorial choices, like wearing white Converse on the red carpet and mixing multiple trends in one go, prove that she's a total fashion trail-blazer.

5. Saoirse Ronan

23-Year-old Saoirse Ronan has made many red carpet risks during her acting career, from wearing clashing prints and colours, to donning very bold tailoring. She's pulled them all off effortlessly, but nearly all of her awards ceremony looks have been untraditional in one sense or the other.

Next time you're heading out, take a leaf out of Saoirse's book and pair clashing prints and colours together to create a truly standout outfit. And remember, don't forget to think about your underwear, too. A bright, fun-loving bra like the sky-blue or punchy pink ones from sloggi's ZERO Feel range will help you nail colour-clashing from the get-go.

6. Emily Ratajkowski

Emily broke some major fashion traditions when she got wed last month. Instead of opting for a classic white wedding gown, this hot-to-trot model said her vows in a burnt orange Zara jumpsuit and chic black hat. Now if that's not bold, we don't know what is.
