It was one of the most lavish weddings we've seen in a long time, from marble tables engraved with guests' names to a pre-dinner at the Palace of Versailles. And let's not forget the ginormous walls of flowers that set the backdrop for the ceremony at the 16th century Forte di Belvedere in Florence. Of course, we're talking about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's extravanganza, which had the world enthralled last weekend (and a good few months leading up to it).
On the fashion front, the bride wore a white lace Givenchy gown designed by Riccardo Tisci, which she ditched for an embellished Balmain number during the evening celebrations. And the night before, she'd showcased a ravishing Maison Martin Margiela white gown as well as a Valentino beauty for a visit to the Italian designer's fancy chateau.
The happy couple also enlisted their famous pals, flying them from Paris to Florence and back again. As for the food, guests dined on homemade mezzaluna pasta stuffed with ricotta, herb-crusted monkfish filet, beef filet with brunello di Montalcino sauce, strawberry sorbet and a huuuge wedding cake. Sounds pretty fab to us, and eye-wateringly expensive too.
