Lady Gaga Wore Gigi Hadid’s Dress From The Versace Show To Last Night’s Oscars

In terms of being 'hot-off-the-press', the award goes to Lady Gaga, who chose a spectacular corseted gown that literally got its first viewing, oh, about 48 hours previously. Arriving at last night's Academy Awards, the singer-actor-superstar did a new take on Old Hollywood. Channeling the classic reveal and conceal trend, Gaga turned the traditional ballgown on its head with a sheer corset and a (frankly jaw-dropping) drop waist that showed actual cheek.

Eagled-eyed fashion fans will have had a major sense of deja vu. Why? Because Gigi Hadid literally just wore said dress on the catwalk at Versace. For the brand's blockbuster show in West Hollywood, which happened on Friday, the supermodel strode out wearing the collection's stand-out look.

And Lady Gaga wasn't the only one who did a quick catwalk turnaround. Actor Danielle Deadwyler, who also attended the show on Friday, appeared wearing one of the polka-dotted, puffball mini dresses complete with a pair of satin gloves. Love.
