Emma Louise Connolly is that girl, and her Instagram feed leaves no doubt. With nearly a million followers across all her ventures, she’s become a force in fashion, beauty, and beautifully plated cuisine. As a model, mother, and founder of Greedy Model, Emma’s style is a playful blend of effortless chic and modern edge. Her look at the Energy by Longchamp event was a perfect example, as she stepped out in a knitted co-ord set, knee-high cowboy boots, and a green bandana that tied everything together for the occasion. Her long-standing love for Longchamp, which began when she would sneak her mum’s Le Pliage bag as a teen, has come full circle. 'It’s an honour to be part of the Longchamp family,' she says. Before their latest event, we caught up with Emma and got an exclusive peek into her wardrobe—and as expected, it’s as stunning as her style influence.

What is Emma’s signature look?

'I think my personal style is ever changing since becoming a Mum. I’m still trying to hone in on what exactly my style is but I flip flop from neutrals (white, navy, blacks) to clashy, bright colours and patterns. I think my signature look always involves a fun vintage or second hand piece.'

What is your go-to outfit when you're feeling unsure about what to wear?

'Vintage jeans, a good white t shirt & a grey jumper. Rings, bracelets and a simple gold necklace.'

Do you have a specific colour palette you prefer? (Why or why not?)

'I think stronger colours/dark tones suit my skin tone better. I try to stick to a simple palette of neutrals and then adding a pop of colour from a coat, shoes or scarf but in reality I rarely do that. The idea is there but I just get too excited with lots of colours and patterns and throw it all together like Joseph’s Technicolor dream coat. Which btw, where can I buy that coat?'

How has your style evolved over time?

'I’ve test driven a number of looks over the years. I studied fashion design at university and regularly sat at my sewing machine whipping up a weird creation for a Saturday night out. Some of them quite eye watering, I’ll admit. I think I’ve now settled on classic pieces that see you through many seasons and years. And I absolutely love a good rummage through a vintage or charity shop.'

Who are your style icons?  (What do you admire about their style?)

'It’s got to be the Olsen twins. So effortless, chic and they always look comfy, very important!'

What do you love about Longchamp?

'I’ve loved Longchamp since I was a teenager trying to borrow (steal) my Mum’s Le Pliage bag. It’s such an incredible, family owned fashion house that always delivers on beautiful pieces and beautiful quality. I’m really proud to be part of the Longchamp family, it’s a true honour.'

What do you think is the most important element of a stylish outfit?

'I’m not sure there is one in particular. Sometimes a great jacket pulls it together, other times it’s shoes or accessories. I think it just has to feel right. I always think the vintage pieces really elevate an outfit. Oldies but goldies.'

Are we still wearing pyjama bottoms as trousers? That was a good one.

'What fragrance are you currently wearing, and what do you love about it?'

What fragrance are you currently wearing, and what do you love about it?

'Karst by Aesop. It’s light, fresh & smells salty like the seaside. Everyone always asks me what it is.'

What piece of clothing will you be reaching for this Autumn?

'Jumpers! I am charging my de-bobbler as we speak. I love autumn layers. Scarves, jumpers, coats, boots & hats. Give it all to me. Autumn and Winter are my favourite seasons and I always really look forward to getting out the chunky knits and boots after a summer of linen & sandals.'

What is your biggest fashion faux pas?

'Focussing on trends. Wear what makes you feel good!'
