Meghan Markle braved the drizzle in London today and made a solo trip to Mayhew animal welfare charity to meet care home residents who had benefitted from pet therapy.
The Duchess of Sussex, who is due to give birth in April, was recently made patron of Mayhew, as well as the National Theatre, The Association of Commonwealth Universities and Smart Works which she visited earlier this month on January 10.
Meghan looked anything but bland in head to toe beige, wearing a £24.99 H&M Mama fine-knit dress and teaming it with considerably more expensive items. These included a £610 Stella McCartney Falabella Tote, a sold out Emporio Armani Cream Cashmere coat, Manolo Blahnik Allure 105 Pumps in Nude which are also sold out, and a pair of £250 Birks Pétale Yellow Gold Earrings which she first wore at her Royal Ascot debut, according to Meghan’s Mirror.
Meghan Markle's H&M Mama dress is still available to buy in dark grey and light beige both online and in store, according to a press release from the high-street brand, but if this dress is anything like the others Meghan has worn, you’d better be quick before it sells out.
This single tone look is a stark contrast to the outfit Meghan chose for her trip to Birkenhead with Prince Harry earlier this week, where style commentators say she paid homage to one of Princess Diana’s most iconic looks by colour blocking with red and purple.
Sister-in-law Kate is said to have followed suit (literally) today by rewearing an Oscar de la Renta skirt ensemble she wore back in February 2017, which is also a bold magenta colour.
