If you've ever tried to buy matching bridesmaid dresses for a wedding then you'll know how difficult styling multiple women is. But Little Mix - the world's biggest current girlband - have managed to get the whole dressing-the-same-but-not-the-same thing nailed.

According to Jesy Nelson, cohesion is the main thing to consider when styling a girlband. ‘We always go with our theme,’ Jesy Nelson tells Grazia at the launch of their PrettyLittleThing clothing collection. ‘But we've all got different styles and different bodies. Jade [Thirlwall] will always be the one who's more tomboyish, whereas I'm quite sexy and I like a leotard and thigh highs. Leigh[-Anne Pinnock] is a fashionista.’ ‘I'm a bit of both,' Perrie Edwards chips in, 'I like a bit of everything really.’

Perrie adds that, sometimes, the girls prefer dressing for a red carpet event to concert styling - even if that means they’re in hair and make-up by 11am. ‘I think because the majority of the time everything we wear is kind of stage performance looks that when we get to the red carpet we’re like, “Oh my God, we get to be fun.” We just get to dress up, we love fashion.’ Their favourite look, they agree, is the all pink ensemble they wore to the Brit Awards earlier this year, where they were awarded Best British Video for Woman Like Me.

Any looks they particularly regret? Very quickly, they all squeal yes in unison. ‘The whole 2012 era,’ Jesy laughs. ‘We just didn’t care - but not in a good way.’ Their style has evolved, Jesy adds, because the group have grown up since they were formed on X Factor in 2011 - and they are now more confident as women. ‘We’re older, so we more daring with what we want to wear - something that we would wear now, we would have never worn five years ago because we just didn't really have the confidence.’

While the band probably aren't worrying about their Monzo overdraft when they shop, they've still got a soft-spot for the high street and like to mix their looks up, often combining high-street items with high-end. Perrie says they’re fans of Balenciaga and Off-White, with their high-street go tos being Zara{ =nofollow}and Urban Outfitters, and, of course, PrettyLittleThing. Jade, who describes herself as ‘very organised’, saves the clothes - and looks she wants to emulate - on Pinterest, sharing it with the group's stylists. Though Leigh-Anne adds you'll likely find them in 'tracksuits or pyjamas' when they have a day off.

The group embody confidence - and they say that’s one of the key secrets to their style. That very confidence is something they want women to feel when they wear the collection they've designed, alongside their stylists, for PrettyLittleThing. The range goes from a size 4 to a size 26 - that's important, Jade says, as inclusivity is a ‘big message’ for the group. ‘When they put it on, we just want them to feel the best they’ve ever felt,’ Jesy adds. ‘You know when you go to a party and you don't actually care about the event, you just can't wait for the outfit,’ Perrie declares. ‘We want girls to feel that.’
