Kate Middleton is out and about today on her second official engagement since returning from maternity leave, wearing a lilac Emilia Wickstead dress, nude heels and a micro bag from Aspinal Of London.
This isn’t the first time she’s worn the lilac number.
Kate first wore the Wickstead dress back in 2017 in Germany on a royal tour, she’s been rewearing a number of looks from that tour recently, including a blue Catherine Walker ensemble which she brought back out at the wedding of close friend Sophie Carter (who is also Princess Charlotte’s godmother) and Robert Snuggs last month.
But even the temperature drops in London, it looks like Kate has decided not to wear the nude tights she is always seen in, even hours after giving birth.
Sister-in-law Meghan Markle was widely ridiculed for wearing nude tights at one of her first engagements as a royal, at Prince Charles’ birthday party, so perhaps Kate wants to stay away from any conversation about nude tights being frumpy by not wearing them.
Kate and William are attending the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit at County Hall, and this is the first official joint engagement for the pair since Kate has returned to work, her first solo appearance was last week at Paddington Recreation Ground last week with primary school children, she rewore a pair of Zara jeans and Penelope Chilvers boots for the occasion.
With all this recycling it’s looking more and more likely that we have already seen the outfit Kate will wear to Eugenie’s wedding this Friday,,,
