We Have Proof That Meghan’s Unofficial Stylist Is Taking Style Advice From Princess Diana
By Lucy Morris Posted on 12 Nov 2018
The Duchess of Sussex’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney has been quietly working as her unofficial style advisor since the former Suits star became a royal. As part of Meghan Markle’s entourage, the Canadian fashion PR assisted the Duchess on her 16-day royal tour, which included 42 outfit changes and a £36,917 clothing allowance. After that styling feat, it seems Jessica has run out of inspiration.
Over the weekend Grazia noticed that the communications exec for the Canadian branch of bridal store Kleinfields (famous for its starring role on Say Yes To The Dress) had started to follow a Princess Diana fan account on Instagram. No doubt, we’ve never related to her more.
The account in question is also followed by a host of fashion insiders, including Vogue editor’s Julia Hobbs and Naomi Smart, Kate Moss agency model Blondey, Jiwanaia jeweller Marisa Jiwi Seok, influencer Elena Ora and designer Edward Marler. The feed features mostly forgotten video footage and photographs of the Diana with quotes and insight about the events leading up to the images.
Check out every single outfit Meghan Markle wore on the royal tour:
Diana’s personal style has influenced numerous royals, including Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge serval times. Since joining the ranks of The Firm, Meghan’s tailoring choices, tartan ensembles and even her off-duty denim have drawn comparisons to her husband Prince Harry’s late mother. If this weekend’s insight is anything to go by, expect more Princess Diana approved fashion infiltration Meghan’s already seriously chic wardrobe.
