Think you’d seen all of Priyanka Chopra’s wedding looks? Think again.
So far, we’ve been treated to an array of wedding and reception looks worn by Priyanka in her wedding ceremonies to Nick Jonas (yes, you read that correctly - that’s ceremonies plural) and now the internet has been treated to another exquisite dress to feed the insatiable need for more Chopra-Jonas wedding detail, and Chopra-singular sartorial fodder.
The two pictures – which have been shared on Instagram by Mimi Cuttrell, Priyanka’s stylist –show the actress wearing a red custom-made gown, and incidentally it’s the stuff of Hollywood dreams. The Dior design features a sweeping tulle skirt, fitted bodice and 16 carats of Chopard jewellery to accessorize including a hair piece with a diamond drop.
One wedding being clearly not enough (we could expect nothing less from the woman who wore a full-length trench coat to the Met Gala in 2017) the couple also celebrated their union with three wedding receptions across November and December. In addition to the Hindu wedding, there was a Christian ceremony which was officiated by Nick Jonas’s father (who happens to be a pastor - handy), for that Priyanka wore a stunning custom-made Ralph Lauren creation embellished with 2,390,000 mother of pearl sequins which was paired with a 75-foot veil.
Are you concentrating? Next up was Priyanka's second wedding dress designed by Sabyasachi, an Indian fashion designer. In Kardashian-levels of extra it took 110 embroiders and 3,720 hours to create. Across her wedding celebrations she also wore a dress by Falguni Shane Peacock which took a staggering 12,000 hours to create, a custom-made Ralph & Russo trouser two-piece and two traditional designs including an embellished sari by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Surely there's a Guinness World Record in there somewhere Priyanka?
