Rihanna Shut Down The Met Gala Red Carpet In HUGE Yellow Dress

Last night's Met Gala saw some of the most iconic red carpet looks from the Vogue party yet.

From Kimye debuting Roberto Cavalli by Peter Dundas to Beyonce's barely-there Givenchy creation, it was certainly a fashion night to remember.

And, never one to be outdone, Rihanna was no exception as she literally shut down the red carpet in a huge yellow gown by Chinese couture designer Guo Pei.

The giant creation consisted of a pink mini-dress with a yellow cape on top and a Guo Pei headpiece to match. Then there was the small matter of the train so long that it required THREE people to help carry it.

Rihanna told Vogue that the dress took a full two years to make and was hand made by one woman. She added to Vanity Fair: "I'm so in love with this dress, but the train is insane! I can't really walk in it without any help. But it's so worth it. I love this dress so much!"

While Rihanna took to the stage inside the party (where social media was banned sob) the internet exploded as people began to make comparisons between Riri's dress and a few yellow characters you might recognise.
