Major congrats to Emma Watson on her British Fashion Award for Best British Style. Boy has this girl put in a stylish display this year and short of the crown going to Keira Knightley we couldn't think of anyone more deserving of the prize. From making mega speeches at the UN to promoting the equally biblical, Noah, Emma Watson has returned to the style spotlight with real maturity this year. But what are the actress's secrets? Well here are the four reasons behind the crowning of Emma Watson…

The Glorious Garments
Back and Brilliant: Emma hasn't looked back since that Bottega Veneta gown Getty)
The outfits have been knock outs and not just because Emma had THE must have accessory for part of the year, her Noah co-star Douglas Booth on her arm- talk about arm candy of the suavest kind! Emma kicked off her year in one seriously sassy way by donning a Dior couture dress at the Golden Globes. The vivid gown was slashed at the back to reveal a pair of trousers and from that moment on the actress was all about the reveal and conceal. One highlight came when the actress attended the Berlin premiere of Noah wearing a Wes Gordan floor length, halter neck gown which scooped at the back to highlight a bow cascading down from her neck. Of late the new UN ambassador has sidelined gowns in favour of sophisticated trouser ensembles and last night she jumped into a one piece to collect her British Fashion Award. Talk about a MOMENT.
The Ace Accessorising

Tackling a floor length gown on the red carpet is nothing new but Emma’s approach to it is rather revolutionary when you take into account the accessories and the stacks of modern diamonds. Every look has carefully considered accessories, for example a J Mendel jumpsuit was topped off with perspex panelled mules from Gianvitto Rossi and whilst presenting at the Oscars back in February the artist formerly know as Hemione accessorised with an Anya Hindmarch sweetie clutch and an array of 'edgy' jewels. This girl certainly knows the power of accessorising.
The Spot-on Stylist
Emma has parted ways with her previous stylist, Caroline Sieber and employed the spot on Sarah Slutsky (Getty)
Wondering just why Emma is looking just SO stylish all of a sudden? WELL, it turns out that Miss Watson has given Caroline Sieber the heave-ho and replaced her with a newcomer who goes by the name of Sarah Slutsky. Miss Slutsky (we will give you a moment to LOL) is doing a cracking job and hasn't let up on the fash pace- from belted Dior at the UN to a major Saint Laurent tux Sarah trumped it all with a floor length Oscar de la Renta for crying out loud! Her Instagram @sarahslutsky is definitely worth a follow as well, as the stylist has a seriously sassy eye especially when it comes to jewellery. We give you one massive style salute Sarah!
The Grown-out Crop
Slicked back for Noah's Berlin Premiere, to the side for Madrid and up for The Oscars (Getty)
One of the keys to the Emma Watson look is the hair. Whether its thrown to the side, like it was for the Madrid premiere of Noah to reveal her industrial clips, or scrapped back in a messy, ‘I am totally fabulous but don’t care,’ manner as it was at the Oscars, her brunette barnett has become the winning weapon in her wardrobe warfare! The hair has certainly moved on from the polished vibe which enhanced her girly apparel and its certainly now at its most striking with a touch of ‘edge’ about it.
