Tonight we crossed the choppy seas of Leicester Square to take our place on the red carpet at the London premiere of Noah. The classic red carpet was kept in storage for the night, as there was a stormy ocean in its place, complete with boulders and an ark (with presenter Alex Zane waiting for his stars to arrive at the end).
Emma Watson has been storming ahead in the fashion stakes this promo tour, so we had big hopes for her in her home town. Boy she didn't disappoint, as she wore a one-of-a-kind white silk column halter evening gown by Ralph Lauren. The frock featured a delicate slit and a hand-pleated silk georgette panel at the hip.

Emma also gave good hair, as she wore it swept up in a bun with floral pins at the back. Emma also had her red carpet signature, a statement ear cuff, which she paired with two matching gold cuffs and Monica Vinader rings. Emma was a big hit with the crowds at Leicester Square - fans were even weepy when her face appeared in the trailer.
Then we come to her cast mate, the beautiful Jennifer Connelly. Jen opted for a British designer in London, as she wore an Autumn Winter 2014 Alexander McQueen gowns which had one of the most elaborate bodices we've ever seen. The gown featured a heavily embellished floral bodice, with an oversized black fur skirt. In a dress that grand you have to let your outfit do the talking, so Jen opted for a sleek and simple updo. As for the jewellery, she went for a Jessica McCormack Diamond Wing of Desire ear cuff and blue sapphire Hera ring by Boucheron.

*We were armed with a fully charged phone (as usual) ready to Instagram lots of pictures of the impressive carpet and the dreamy beyond dreamy Douglas Booth. Yes, he's even more beautiful in real life. We managed to grab a quick chat with Russell Crowe who said that this film was more physically challenging than Gladiator, could this mean he'll give up the muscle movies? He said: 'I'm getting older with every minute that goes by, with every question I answer, I age.'
So was he nervous accepting a role that might bring a lot of controversy? He said: 'When you go into a movie like this you understand there is going to be a lot of controversy. I was probably surprised by the volume of it. You are talking about people that by and large are making comments based on their imagination of what it might be, with a movie they haven't seen. So it's like, whaaat?'
