Zoe Saldana has welcomed her third child with her husband, artist Marco Perego.
The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old twins Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio, have named their third son Zen.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star took to her Instagram account yesterday to share the happy news with her followers, posting a sweet image of her elder sons playing on a mat with their newborn baby brother.
'Marco and I are elated to share the news of the birth of our son Zen,' she wrote in a caption. 'We couldn't feel more blessed with the new addition to our family. #threeboys... Oh boy.'
Zoe, who has repeatedly spoken out about her desire to keep her children out of the spotlight, chose a photo which kept their faces obscured.
'It has to do with respecting who they are. They’re too young to tell me how they would feel. They don’t know if they’re comfortable with that,' she previously revealed.
'I can share them to the point that my husband and I are comfortable. I’ve never felt the impulse to show their faces,' she added.
The actress, who will return to the screen this summer for the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, had not previously announced that she was expecting a new addition to her family.
