This weekend, it was confirmed that actress Zoë Kravitz has filed for divorce from her husband Karl Glusman following 18 months of marriage. Fans had long speculated that the pair might not be together, as Karl, 33, had been absent from Zoë's social media since she shared a black and white wedding photo on their one year wedding anniversary last June.
But it turns out the A-list are no different from us following a split, as Zoë, 32, decided to share a funny post to her Instagram story following the news. Sharing a meme of a drag queen throwing trash in a dumpster, the bag read, 'People places and things that no longer serve my greatest and highest good,' to which she added, 'MOOD.'
Obviously, this had led her followers to think the pair did not end on good terms... And, as one fan noted, the news came out on the same day as her ex's birthday, January 3. They wrote: 'zoë kravitz’s soon-to-be-ex husband (no i will not learn his name) must have done something really awful for her to file for divorce on his birthday and put that meme on her insta story i’m VERY suspicious of him.'
The Big Little Lies star and the Nocturnal Animals actor began dating four years ago, with the pair marrying in a secret civil ceremony in 2019. They then held a high profile second ceremony at her rock star father Lenny’s house in Paris surrounded by family and friends in June 2019, including her Big Little Lies castmates Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley. Other guests included Alicia Keys, Denzel Washington, Donald Glover, and Cara Delevingne with then-girlfriend Ashley Benson.
