Calm your beating hearts Directioners. After all the excitement at the weekend that Zayn might be returning to the One Direction fold (he’s not, Twitter’s a bitch for rumours), there’s at least been a bit of news concerning the oh-so-handsome one.
Three months on from quitting the band, another Zayn song has leaked onto the internet. You’ll recall that the first one lasted about five minutes before everyone went mad and it disappeared again. Now, there’s another one, again with that guy Naughty Boy who seems to have a vested interest in all the stuff that Zayn does.
The song’s a cover of another song by a chap called Rae Sremmurd and features a rapper called MIC Righteous. Some choice lyrics? ‘I got a bunny runnin’ on my left, Dot Cotton on my right. You ain’t gotta tell me which one I should fuck.’ Charming.
MIC Righteous also clears up some stuff about now infamous meme The Dress. ‘No pretty gold or blue, it’s just black and it’s white. And it proved dependent on reflection of light.’ Thanks for that one too, buddy. Very helpful stuff four months on from a subject everyone’s already forgotten about.
Anyways, there’s some controversy about how the song leaked online. Naughty Boy claims the one leaked online isn’t the ‘real one’, and then he and MIC Righetous had a Twitter spat which, if we’re perfectly honest, we don’t understand, but you can read it below if you want. Otherwise, listen to the song here.
Either way chaps, there was no need to bring Dot Cotton into it.
