Diplo Made His Own Yeezy Season 6 Ads, And Kim Kardashian Loved It

Pictures of the Yeezy Season 6 campaign have been flooding timelines all week.

In a super smart move the campaign saw influencers and celebs including Paris Hilton, Amina Blue, Jordyn Woods and Sarah Snyder dressed up as Kim Kardashian – including her trademark blonde wig – wearing Yeezy Season 6 in paparazzi-style shots.

Kim Kardashian has been teasing Season 6 pieces in the YS6 paparazzi look book that came out in late 2017.

One celeb who didn’t get invited to join the campaign was US DJ Diplo, who is behind hits such as Beyonce’s Hold Up.

He decided to shoot his own campaign imagery, complete with blonde wig, tracksuit bottoms and chunky trainers.

Some people thought he looked more like Legolas than Paris or Kim.

But Kim actually loved it.

And so did Paris Hilton.

**Want to recreate the Yeezy look yourself? **

Since the actual Yeezy Season 6 campaign images (and not Diplo’s fake ones) were released, fashion brands have been rushing to create their own versions of the looks.

Missguided seems to have had the pieces ready and waiting to go, on Thursday they posted this Yeezy-esque image to Instagram with the caption: 'Kim K lifestyle, lemonade money. Shop The New Essentials: Season 1 online now.'

Tops are selling for £8 and dresses from £18, a snip compared to the $300 (£210) Yeezy hoodie.

Some have slated Missguided for their cheap copycat pieces.

While others snapped them up quicker than you can say Kimoji.

And if you do want to recreate the look you’ll need the hair too.

The models in the new campaign had their hair done by stylist Tokyo Stylez , who is selling a ‘Season 6 Unit’ wig for $959 (£674).
