So was presumably with a heavy heart then that Ariana Grande found out that her incident of donut licking was the thing that cost her this great honour.
On Friday, WikiLeaks released a bunch of emails from the Democratic National Committee. Obviously there was very important stuff in there about the future of our world but also, there was an email from Zachary Allen, the DNC's Finance Chair expressing distaste at the popstar's actions.
If you'll remember, the incident occured this time last year when Ariana was caught on video licking donuts in a donut store before licking her boyfriend and stating 'I hate Americans. I hate America'.
Zachary Allen was none too pleased. 'Ariana Butera (real name - who knew?) -video caught her licking other peoples' donuts while saying she hates America. Republican Congressman used this video and said it was a double standard that liberals were not upset with her like they are with Trump who criticized Mexicans; cursed out a person on Twitter after that person used an offensive word towards her brother.'
Don't mess with the DNC Ariana.
