Sean 'Diddy' Combs' arrest has rocked the A-list community – from those who have worked closely with him over the years and those who have attended his infamous parties, to those who have long suspected he had something to hide.

The rapper was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution and faces multiple allegations of sexual assault, physical assault and abuse. He is currently awaiting trial in the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn. If found guilty, he faces a life sentence. Combs' attorney says he denies all charges and plans to plead not guilty in court.

However, along with noughties singer Jaguar Wright, someone who has been throwing his name out there for a long time is Katt Williams. The comedian is currently in the headlines for suggesting he has 'receipts' to confirm his suspicions about Combs and unsurprisingly people are intrigued.

Who is Katt Williams?

Micah 'Katt' Williams is an American actor and stand up comedian. He played Money Mike in Friday After Next, was a recurring guest on Wild 'n Out, portrayed Bobby Shaw in My Wife and Kids, provided the voice of A Pimp Named Slickback in The Boondocks and Seamus in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, and portrayed Lord Have Mercy in Norbit.

He grew up in Ohio and was raised by two Jehovah's Witness parents until he emancipated himself and moved to Florida at the age of 18. Katt has 10 children, three of which are biological and seven of which are adopted.

By the looks of his Instagram account, Katt is also a big golf fan.

How does Katt Williams know Sean Combs?

Following Combs' arrest on 18 September, Katt shared his thoughts on his Instagram story. He reposted an AI-generated video on Saturday meant to replicate a scene in Wesley Snipes’ 1991 film, New Jack City along with the caption 'Diddy about to snitch on everybody'.

In the clip, Combs’ face has replaced the actor’s as Snipes’ character, Nino Brown, and names one of his associates – who had been edited to look like Jay-Z. Katt features in the clip looking on as the drama played out.

This isn't the first time he has spoken out against Combs. In January, the comedian predicted that Combs would face legal troubles on the Club Shay Shay podcast telling host Shannon Sharpe that he believed 'all lies would be exposed' this year. He added, 'It’s up for all of them. It don’t matter if it’s Diddy or whoever you is, any of them.'

Did Katt Williams attend Diddy's parties?

Katt has openly said he refused invites to Combs’ infamous parties over the years.

He said, 'P. Diddy be wanting to party, and you got to tell him no. You got to tell him no! I did. See, I got the receipts for everything I’m telling you, that’s why I can say them so freely.'
