Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is on life support in a vegetative state, and will remain so under father Bobby Brown’s orders, reports Access Hollywood.

Bobbi, who is Whitney’s only child, was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub at her home, which is unfortunately, uncannily similar to the way Whitney died three years ago. The Grammy-award winning singer had drowned in a bathtub.

Following reports that the family were saying their goodbyes to Bobbi and would be turning off the life support machine, Bobby’s lawyer gave a statement to say: ‘If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majority of the other reporting that is currently taking place.’

When asked today by Access Hollywood how Bobbi is doing, Bobby replied: ‘She’s good. We’re praying.’

Oprah Winfrey was stopped mid-autograph-sign by TMZ reporters and told Bobbi was on life support. Pausing momentarily, Oprah spoke of how her friend, film director Tyler Perry, was offering support to Bobbi Kristina’s family, and humbly took a moment to say that though she wasn’t close to Whitney, ‘he’s been instrumental in trying to help Bobbi Kristina too.’

When asked if she had any words, she said, ‘There aren’t any words… it’s a sad time. I don’t believe there’s any irony in the timing that it’s all happening around the same time, because it’s just been three years, right?’
