If, like us, you're feeling overwhelmed by the constant barrage of early mornings, awkward Christmas parties, constant terrible news coming in from all over the world, then it's time for a break. A break that will fill you with Christmas cheer, festive tingles and tingles of another sort.

Because someone filmed gorge actor Tom Hiddleston singing 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas' while holding a puppy. The man should get a Nobel Prize or something.

By way of context, and before we give you happytears, the video was shot in a studio while recording the soundtrack for the Hank Williams biopic I Saw The Light with Rodney Crowell and, according to Joanne Gardner (aka the woman who gave this to the world - maybe she should get the Nobel Prize too?), they 'took a short break to spread some holiday cheer with at Rodney's studio with his wonder-dog, Mono'.

And we're really, really glad they took that short break.
