Jessie Ware’s wedding to childhood sweetheart Sam Burrows, a personal trainer, might have been a low-key occasion, taking place in a Greek island we will probably never know the name of, but she’s given us some subtle looks into the big day via her Instagram. And all of the wedding gifts she shared pictures of look so cool and expectations-of-wedding-defying that we almost want to get married right now. Plus, there's the whole fear of not knowing what you're missing out on (the mystery of missing out, or MOMO) - we all know there was a wedding, it's in our imaginations how great it was. Here's what we do know:
The cheeky shoes
We doubt we’ll ever see Jessie’s full dress – she’s not the sort to go telling Hello! about her nuptials for a 10 page spread – but we did catch the underside of the dress, lifted up to reveal some glossy peep-toe sandals. The right says ‘Wifey’ and the left says ‘For Lifey’. Designed by Sophia Webster, they’re a little cheeky little touch under all the proper-ness of the dress.
The his ‘n’ hers matching swimwear
As they’re on a hot beachside right now, Jessie and Sam posed for a sweet marital photo with their backs to the camera to reveal the personalised names on their bums. Jessie’s bum says ‘Mrs Burrows’ and Sam’s? ‘Mr Ware’. Which is a really sweet way of flipping round the expectation that, in all things, even customised swimwear, women take the man’s name and not the other way around.

The Kimye tribute jackets
After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West married – in a much less subdued ceremony – they posed wearing leather jackets, with one jacket’s back bearing the word ‘just’ and the other ‘married’. Jessie and Sam paid tribute to this with their very own leather jackets, with the same customisation, and nailed the exact same pose, right down to the snarly faces.

The cake
Whereas most people would end up opting for fruit cake, or red velvet at a push, Jessie got this fantastic mound of multi-coloured marbled meringues, and the bride and groom atop them aren’t any bride and groom, but some Day of the Dead dolls, which are basically skeletons in clothes. Not your typical wedding cake, and we’re not sure Mary Berry would entirely approve of its audacious colour scheme or morbid toppings, but we would definitely eat it.
Congratulations Jessie and Sam – until we get photos of Shiloh in a tux, this wedding might actually be cooler than Brangelina’s!
