The Kardashians never seem to be far from the headlines - but, this week, Khloé Kardashian has been courting controversy. The reality star has been called out previously for promoting weight loss shakes, notably by Jameela Jamil{
‘#ad Okay... LISTEN UP,’ she captioned a snap of her holding one of the shakes. ‘I’ve posted with @flattummyco’s Shakes many times in the past and YES, I also use a personal trainer and a nutritionist. But seriously guys, everything counts. THESE SHAKES WORK.’ (However, this time, Khloé did admit that she has a nutritionist and a PT to aid her lifestyle.)
Now, one of the latest people to criticise the weight loss supplement happens to be one of our favourite celebs, Vogue Williams, who has said the Kardashian is 'duping' fans 'for the sake of a quick buck'. Writing on her Instagram stories on Thursday, the fitness influencer wrote, ‘Flat tummy shakes DO NOT WORK! This all done for money, please don't believe it.’
But the post is nothing personal, as Vogue clarified that while she is a fan of the Kardashians, she thinks some of the things they sell are ‘disgraceful’.
The model continued, saying that even though being an influencer is now a major part of her job, she wouldn’t sell anything to her followers which she didn’t believe in. ‘Instagram has now become a part of my job too and it annoys me when I see anyone being dishonest or selling something they know is awful,’ the mum-of-one said. ‘I wouldn't do it because it's lying to people! I personally buy a lot of things I see on Insta but I'd hate to be duped for the sake of quick buck!’
