When we first found out that Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel and fiancé Hermann Nicoli are expecting a baby boy, we couldn't wait. And ever since we have been on baby watch, incessantly checking her Instagram page for updates, very much like the below...

So when we found out that the pregnant model has announced the name of her unborn son, we couldn't believe our luck. And it's undoubtedly a rather fitting name. Anacã. The African-Hausa term translates to 'sweetness of face' (clearly stating he is guaranteed to inherit his mother's model characteristics).

Prior to the pending birth, Candice threw a safari-themed baby shower in celebration of her first child and it was here that she revealed the name of their son. And thanks to her friends who shared the moment on Instagram, we've been able to take an inside look...

Candice is expected to give birth in November this year after she first confirmed that she was pregnant in March.

So it's all good news for the supermodel as she is also set to wed fiancé Hermann Nicoli after he proposed in August 2015.

And it's safe to say we'll be following her Instagram a little longer for a first peek at baby Anacã...

On 18 May 2016 we wrote...

Congratulations, Candice! The model, who is in her second trimester of pregnancy, has just revealed that she is expecting a baby boy.

The South African super took to Instagram to post a striking maternity snap of her baby bump, captioned 'My not so little baby boy.' Her choice of emoji? A baby and a blue heart, of course.

It's a weekend for Angel bump snaps, as fellow pregnant VS model Behati Prinsloo just posted a picture of herself in her first maternity jeans.

There must be something in the water backstage at the Victoria’s Secret shows; Candice Swanepoel has joined fellow angel Behati Prinsloo in announcing her pregnancy.

The model is expecting her first child with fiancé Hermann Nicoli.

Nicoli proposed to Swanepoel in August last year. “They are very happy," a source told E! Online. "They plan to spend the summer in New York."

Candice this week posted a picture of herself looking down at her stomach reading "Oh summer. pls hurry."
